Leading Last Mile Logistics SaaS platform that connects independent courier professionals with businesses in 19 major cities across Australia and New Zealand

They leverage their crowd-sourced fleet of 10000 drivers and robust delivery tech to deliver products for small to large businesses from store to door, same day, and faster.

Major clients include Woolworths, DHL, BWS, Dan Murphys, Chemist Warehouse, Apple, etc.

- 200 000+ deliveries every month and 3500+ retailer clients, small and large

- 10 000 registered drivers in Australia

2022 and 2023 will be full of interesting challenges to solve, new features to implement, and fun to be had.

They are now hiring two additional experienced Ruby on Rails Engineers (RoR) to join their talented product engineering team of 15 (Total headcount 70).

What you'll do:

- Join a squad and participate in the agile process including product/feature design sessions, estimation, retrospectives, showcases and standups.

- Design, develop and maintain features for the heart and soul of the business - A performant Ruby on Rails monolith

- Work with the product, sales and operations teams to define and build industry-changing features

- Write high-performance, maintainable Ruby on Rails

- Investigate and fix bugs reported by the customers or drivers

- Participate in product/feature design and review sessions

- Maintain the application by upgrading dependencies and tackling tech debt

If you have people and leadership skills and desire to manage a project team, supervise and mentore juniors, you could become one of their new Squad Leads.
